If memory serves correctly, the total build took about two hours. The only problem I encountered was with the copper tape. Namely that I pulled it off one too many times and rendered the adhesive useless. However, I didn't use the wires included for the speaker (I soldered mine directly to the board), so I used those plus some electrical tape to serve the same purpose. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't take any pictures during it. However, I've included some finished shots.
The result is pretty great; I'm amazed by how loud it is. What's more, it's capable of getting into subsonic pitches pretty easily. Needless to say, I'm slowly driving the other people in my dorm mad, though some of them have taken to playing with it too, so I don't feel so bad.
Here's the link to the home side for the Drawdio.
The kit costs ~$20, but for some good soldering practice and a theramin, I think it's worth it.
